Dag Solstad

Dag Solstad debuted in 1965 with his collection of short stories, Spiraler in 1965 and has since been one of the country’s most noteworthy authors. Solstad has received the Kritikerprisen three times and in 1989 he was awarded the Norwegian Council’s Literature Prize for Roman 1987. Amongst other awards that he has received are the Doblougprisen, Språklig samlings litteraturpris, Aschehougprisen, Gyldendalprisen, Brageprisen og Brages hederspris.
