A film impossible not to be moved by. A five-year-old Indian boy is separated from his big brother on the streets of Calcutta, thousands of kilometres from home. It is a tough reality for the five-year-old lost boy, but against all odds he survives and is finally adopted by a couple in Australia. 25 years later he returns to India to find his family.

The film is based on Saroo Brierley’s true story and his autobiography, A long way home, about how he found his family once more with the help of Google Earth. The film received 4 Golden Globe and 6 Oscar nominations in 2017, including Best Picture.
